I showed this product in my favorites video.

I bought this at Walgreens but I hear that they are also available at Rite Aid. It ran for about $3.50 (guesstimate).

This cute little lipbalm is shaped like a sphere, which I think is really neat!

The smell is absolutely amazing. The best thing about this is that you can moisturize your upper and bottom lips at the same time! (not that doing them separately is time consuming or anything!!)...but I just like the idea of sweeping it across my lips a few times and that's it!

Overall....its highly affordable....comes in a few different scents, and most importantly.....its very moisturizing!

A Saturday Spent....in my car....

I had TONs of errands to run this past Saturday....I literally drove around town ALL day finishing up some business....just basically doing things I didn't have time to do while in school...Spring Break is about to end...I shall miss my week of freedom...

I was CRAVVVING beef jerky for some odd reason, so I stopped by a Vietnamese market and picked up a 1/2 lbs. YUMMAY!

(I've already finished the entire bag =/)

Starting off with getting gas....whoa, so expensive! Although 2.99 is the CHEAPEST I can find, the one near my house is 3.07 ish...crazy crazy!

I have this habit of bringing snacks with me when I drive around....soooo bad of me...there was a Trader's Joe's next to the gas station so I got some dried spicy mango

As I was doing my thAng....I came across this store called Amore that sold LANEIGE products! oh boy was I excited! First off, Laneige isn't really available in the US...what I mean by "isn't really" is that you can definitely still find them in Asian markets but its not readily available at like...say...department stores.

For all I know, if I wanted to try Laneige products....I had to order them online.

So I bought...............

I find that the prices on these products are A LOT cheaper then those found online. I also got a cute little Snow Crystal gift set and some samples.

So far so good! I'm loving all the products, if you're interested, I might do a review later. I'm also eye-ing a few more things.

Spring Break....so far...

Review: Wet n' Wild Color Icon Palette in LUST

Alright, I know a lot of you have been waiting for a post! I'm so sorry but I've been extremely busy the past month, I've even neglected my main channel! *sigh*...anyways, on to some new posts. I have been hauling quite A LOT! And here is a product I felt I needed to mention, esp. because of the hype around it.

I had first heard of this product from another yt guru, and she swears by this product. Yes, ladies and gents, it is the new Wet N' Wild Color Icon eyeshadow palettes and the one I own is in LUST (purples and grays)

The packaging is cute and simple. I actually think its pretty big, considering there are 6 shadows, so I wouldn't be carrying this lil baby in my handbag. (oxymoron?)

It's unique-ness comes from the fact that you get both matte and shimmery colors to play with. The left column contains the matte shades and the right, the shimmery shades.

The colors are EXTREMELY pigmented and I can almost guarantee you won't need to use a base to bring up the colors *it WILL show up bright and colorful on your bare eyelids*

The one thing I do NOT like about these shadows are that they are super duper chalky! Run your finger gently through one and you'll know what I'm talking about. They are chalky and you get a lot of fallouts. So my solution to this is to gently brush through the shadows, tap off the excess from your brush, and pact them on your lids (rather than sweeping it all over)

I got my palette from Rite Aid for $4.99 with a $2.00 rebate. It doesn't hurt to try, esp. if you wait for a bogo buy 1 get 1.

I would rate this product a 3.5/5 (the chalkiness just gets me) and I probably will not be repurchasing one. You're better off with one of those Maybelline shadow quads.

VEGAS WEEKEND 2009!

I JUST got back from Vegas not too long ago with about 11 others. I had the best weekend.

We stayed one night at Excalibur and two nights at the Venetians...had a blast!

We hit up TAO, LAVO, JET, and XS night clubs....of course, our hangover food of choice was Pho haha.

Anyways, I just wanted to show y'all some of my outfits that I wore...I would love to put the entire photo up but I didn't ask my friends for permission to post them, soooo I cropped them out.

I'm sooo loving the idea of shorts and ankle boots, I think it looks really chic. Not only that, but its really comfortable, so you don't have to worry about your feet hurting or your undies showing by the end of the night.

I sported those pearl-y bracelets the entire weekend. (Charlotte Russe).

5 Pointers Review

Wet N' Wild Products

Alright, obviously I have been MIA for.............ever? hehe, SORRY! But I just finished my last week of the semester and I'm so thrill because now I have all the time in the world to blog blog blog...until school starts again.

Anyways I was bored one day and decided to go to Rite Aid to see if there were any cosmetic sales going on, and Wet N' Wild cosmetics were marked 40%.......pretty predictable from here...

The first is an eyeshadow trio Mega Eyes in Egyptian Sands.

1. The retail price for this trio is around $2.99. Rite Aid was having 40% off and I ended up paying $1.79 =)

2. The three colors are pretty pigmented, but all three are shimmery, no matte colors =/

3. It comes with a set look, with imprints on each shadows: "browbone" "crease" and "lid"

4. You also get a pull out mirror in which I failed to catch on camera

5. Overall its a really good trio for its price, comes with a convenient pull out mirror for easy use. I highly recommend you try this, esp. if theres a bogo at your local drugstore.

The next product is a lipstick. I believe Wet N' Wild carries two types of lipsticks? (correct me if I'm wrong)..... one of the lippy collection has a squared-like packaging, and the one I bought is round =) It is in #501B, I don't see a name for it.

In the above pic, I'm wearing the lipstick over a Makeup Forever lipliner in 18C.

1- These retail for 0.99 cents and I paid 0.59 cents from the 40% sale

2. These lipsticks smell AMAZING! I have issues explaining smell but trust me, they smell GOOD

3. Its a matte lipstick with a gloss finish

4. A little drying, may sink into the fine lines and appear crackly (my tip, fill your lips with a liner as a base)

5. Overall I do recommend these lipsticks, esp. this color, if you're into bright "coral-ly" pinks. I can't argue with the price =) I will def. try out their other colors.

The only Wet N' Wild items that I've ever owned were their eyeliners. I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the above products, I think the quality are fantastic, the packaging is pretty sturdy, and the price is amazing. Two thumbs up!

I LOVE pizza!

My lopsided pizza! My best friend had a pizza party the other week and she basically provided the dough and cheese while guests bring their own toppings and we all made pizza together. It was so much fun, I wanted to make more pizzas at home.

So here is the first try, I obviously did not have the right size pan? Whatever, it was still amazingly delicious.

Just wanted to share with you guys my messy lil vanity. I have a simple mirror that I use, on top of a cute little drawer ($5 at Big Lots). Nothing too fancy. I actually bought the huge triple sided light vanity mirror from ULTA but it was just NOT working out hehe.

I like to switch up my makeup once in a while. I usually take the makeup I'm going to wear the following day out of my makeup case and place them on my vanity, so when I wake up in the mornings, its all out there.....5 min makeup and ready to head out.

My puuurdy brush jars. I got the jars from Walmart for $2 ea, the ribbons ($1) and beads ($5.99) from Michaels. Here is a little tip for ya, if you're going to get the ribbons and the beads at Michaels, buy the ribbons FIRST...then they'll give you a 40%-50% off coupon with your receipt and you can use that to get the beads after...hehe...sneaky.

On the bottom desk

A page I tore out from Women's Health magazine on recipes for healthy food. That pasta dish looked so yummy, I wanted to make it. Haven't done so yet, but I'm sure its delicious. I have plenty of random pages I tear off from magazines and I throw them everywhere on my desk. Thats how I do. =p

From left to right, RED FULL STOP (fall trend '09)- SURPRISE ME (holiday '09)- CREME CUP (permanent?) i also spelled it wrong in the pic =/

I only did a close up of Red Full Stop, because after that application, my lips instantly dried up and got all crackly =/, so I'm just adding a full pic for each l/s.

I got a dazzleglass in SHE-ZAM (holiday '09) and a dazzleglass cream in MY FAVORITE PINK (dazzleglass cream collection)

Both are amazingly creamy and smooth....NO STICKINESS! love love love.

Here are the products inside that box I posted about a while back. MAC's LOOK IN A BOX kit in SEDUCTRESS. If you're in search of the 181, MAC has a new mineralized skin finished kit out that comes with the mini kabuki ($59).

I'm not exactly sure about the irridescent pressed powdered (BELIGHTFUL) yet, it's pretty shimmery and I'm going to give it a try for a couple of weeks and do a review on it.

If I can suggest a lip product for you to try, it'd be Mac's slim shine in BARE. I love the slim packaging, the vanilla scent (like all MAC lip products), and the glossy finish that it provides (so no need for a lipgloss). Its a neutral color that almost anyone can wear. Again, small packaging that'll fit nicely in your hangbag, and a great color for everyday wear.

Hooray to the CCO! Got my Henna eyeshadow(from Brunette Blond Redhead 2008 collection) for around 10 bucks and the Moss Scape paint pot for 11 bucks! I'm thinking that the outstand-ish color this season is purple (seeing so many purple looks lately, on youtube AND in magazines), but for me, I'm loving my greens =D, especially those dirty looking shades.

Moss Scape was discontinued in 2008, I think, but its such a lovely color so I'm very excited I found it.

Alright, if you can't get your hands on Fly-By-Blu pearlglide, give NYX's Sapphire eyeliner a try, its not exactly the same, NYX does not have the chunky glitters, but I think the colors are pretty close, NYX being a tad bit darker but hey, its $2.00.

I have read many reviews on MAC's 2009 holiday collection and yes there are a lot of dupes for almost everything, however, I still LOVE it! and if I could, I would buy everything from that collection, so I don't care what anyone says.

This year, they gave us a lot of nice kits and variables to choose from. This palette caught my eyes because of the bottom olive/gold color (Prankster) and the top middle pink/flesh color (Dare Ya!). Overall I would give this palette a 9/10, 1 point taken away for the price, of course.

This is the look I came up with, pretty neutral, easy to wear. I'll be playing around with the other colors as well.

I needed a necklace one night when i was at my friend's house because we were going out or something, I can't remember, but we just drove to the mall and I just ran into JC Penney and picked up whatever looked decent lol, and to my surprise, it is one of my most worn necklace to date. $11.00 more or less.
There is this local jewelry store near my house called Ella Bella and they have amazing jewelries, not to mention amazing deals! I got this set with a necklace and earrings for only $11.00! Again with the floral, i'm on a floral kick this season.

My dog wants out, haha. Can you spot him?

Outfit of the Day

Alright, I have a new camera and have no idea how to work it. Its really hard to take a full length picture of myself because I don't have a full length mirror! aha! Anywho, I set my new camera on my desk and programmed a self timer and had no idea that I set it at 10 secs while taking 3 shots, so after the first shot, I thought that was it! But it kept clicking lol. I also didn't focus it correctly but here are the results. I'm such a noob with this camera!

Those are actually the boots from two posts ago, the purple ones, though it looks quite dark in this picture. The necklace was $11 from JC Penney. =D, I'm on a blog update kick right now so you'll see future posts of me wearing the same thing lol, can't help it, I'm on a roll.

New Obsession

My beautiful beautiful Kat Von D eyeshadow palette in Beethoven...I wore the purple shades today and the pigmentation is extremely rich and the formula is smooth and blendable. I actually randomly picked up this palette when I was at my boyfriend's house and he decided for us to go clubbing that night. I usually don't carry makeup with me and had to quickly stop by Sephora to get some eyeshadows to wear for the night. And I'm happy to say that I made the right choice.

Anyways, here are some pics, I didn't go all out but the following pictures are of the eyeshadows from an 8 hours wear. I put the eyeshadows on at 11am this morning and the pictures below were taken at 1130pm. I didnt touch up on anything. You can see for yourself how long lasting it is.

Even though its not freshly placed, I still think that from 11am-1130pm, that's pretty good!

Please don't mind the mascara, I'm using the Loreal Telescopic mascara and absolutely hate it! I figure I should just use it up now since i have it, but that's a whole 'nother story.

Boots Haul!

I haven't had a chance to update anything because the past few weeks have been so crazy! I've had exams and clinicals and when I come home, I just want to knock out.

I went boot shopping a while back....gearing up for the winter, and nothing spells out winter other than a pair of UGG boots =D, I finally had the guts to buy em, (expensive!)...I sort of cheated, given the fact that I had a gift card from Victoria's Secret so I ordered my UGGs from their website...haha. Here they are, just a pair of classic short cut cognac boots.

They're still brand new....I don't know why but its still about 80 degrees here where I live so I cannot wait til the cold hits.

There is this new store in the malls around my area called Love Culture and I found these cute purple slouchy boots for only $20! I've always wanted a pair of purple boots but failed the find one that fits my style, and I LOVE these.

I like to wear these boots with black leggings and a long tshirt....perfect fall look, esp. if its not freezing cold yet.
Last but not least, the next pair of Steve Madden definitely caught my eyes =D, so I caved in and bought em. I LOVE buckles, anything with buckles, I'm all there.

These are definitely NOT cowboy boots but its close, I've been trying to find a pair of nice cognac cowboy boots for a while now and nothing has met my tastes, so I figure these are close enough.

That's it for now, I have a huge makeup haul coming up but I'll update on that later.

My Relaxing Weekend: FOOD BLOG!

I'm starting a new rotation in school now and I don't have classes on mondays= three day weekends! =). I decided to splurge on some yummy food over the weekend with friends and my boyfriend =D

After a stressful week of finals and practicums, my momma and I decided to get some lunch together and of course, we opted for PHO! she found this place that sold a large bowl of pho for $3.00! thats nuts! it was sooo good too!, we couldn't take it to-go but thats all part of their business, i guess they just wanna have a fuller crowd and if u take it to-go, its regular price or something.

It was the PERFECT lunch, definitely filled me up!

My boyfriend and i havent had much time to hang out together because of our busy schedules but he treated me out to dinner and boy was it YUMMY! I swear I gained like 5 lbs over this weekend. We went to koreatown and had some fantastic all-you-can-eat korean bbq....don't be jealous hehe.
Those are my two favs on the grill right there, some korean bacon and briskets, we got other things as well but i only take pictures of the best, hehe.
Check out that salad! a little sprinkle of pepper and its all good, amazing with the bbq meat. Uploading these pics are making me hungry again.
And of course, the day doesn't end better than with some Star Bucks, my fav is the Java Chip Frap. YUM!

MAJOR damage

So I went to the mall today to return a Lucky Brand scarf that I over paid for and of course got sucked into the MAC counter. Last week MAC came out with their newest Dazzleglass collection in Dazzleglass Creme, and I knew I needed "The Perfect Pink". The best thing about this collection is that there is a blend of shimmer and creme into the lipgloss so that you don't get that nasty sticky feeling on your lips. Anywho, so I picked up "The Perfect Pink" and was browsing around and decided to get the 182 brush ( the kabuki ), I think that's the number. I asked the MUA when they'll have the mini kabuki out again and she led me to the 'Look In A Box' kit that they still carry. It comes with two eyeshadows, a lip and face product, a mini zoom lash, and the Mac 181se for only $59.00. I actually like the mini kabuki better than the full sized one so I picked up the set LOL, (really... no self control). I did NOT pick up the 182, however, or my wallet will be crying. But here is a sneak peak of my upcoming haul. I also have some things from Sephora but that'll be for later =D.

There are three sets in this collection, I bought the "Seductress" set, as you can tell by the picture, she looks pretty seductive no? hehe
This collection has been out for a while now and the only sets left were "Seductress" and "Strip Tease"...I opted for "Seductress" because of the slim shine (in bare) and highlighting powder (belightful) . The two eyeshadows are "Naked Lunch" and "Knight Divine." Again you get a deluxe size zoom lash and the 181se. I'll do more of an indept review later. Have a great day, guys!

UK Swap!

I don't know what to title this post lol, but here are some things i've been collecting back in August and I will also list the giveaway prizes from my channel =)

These lipsticks are applied straight on my lips, I have no base nor gloss on.
Maybelline Moisture Extreme l/s NUDE BLUSH
RATING: 9/10
(very very moisturizing, i will definitely check out the other shades, i think this is a fantastic product, you don't need a lip gloss with it as you can see it gives you a nice glossy finish. As for staying power i would say that its alright, but i actually don't mind reapplying this product throughout the day =) )

Rimmel l/s PINK BLUSH
RATING: 9/10
(Great color, buildable, you can make it as sheer as you'd like and as bold as you'd like. Very pretty barbie pink color, affordable and easy to use)

Rimmel l/s BIRTHDAY SUIT
RATING: 8/10
(This is a very pigmented lipstick, I usually pair this up with Revlon's NUDE ATTITUDE to tone it down a bit. It is a nude shade, more on the brown side, affordable, and great consistency)

AVON Products:

Moisture Hair Mask: 7/10, nothing special, moisturizes your hair, however i find that any conditioner will do just as well.

Moisture Therapy Intense Hand Lotion: 5/10 WHOA this product is really really RICH, it was way too overwhelming for my hands, i felt like i had to keep rubbing and rubbing and rubbing until the product absorbs into my hands. It is for extremely dry hands, which i thought i had.

Ideal Shade Concealer Stick light/medium: 3/10 this product is whatevers, it broke on me when i twisted it, very very drying, must blend it into your skin right away...good thing it was only $2

Warm Bronzer: 8/10, really pretty product, nice glow, nice sheen, easy to blend, definitely not hard to work with, $3.00, however, I'm just annoyed because it shattered during shipment, I think i'd give it a better rating had it not shattered

Complexion Perfection: 9/10 this product is LOVE, hehe i mostly use the green for my undereye circles...most people have blue/purple toned undereye circles but i have REDness! and to neutralize out the redness, I put a green shade over my blemishes and this compact works really very, it is light and balances out your skintone.

Olay Refreshing Toner: 7/10, got it for $2.00 at target lol, LOVE SALES!, tightens ur pores, you can feel your skin tightening up so it may be a little drying. It smells really nice. Overall I think it's a good toner

New Project: Weekly Products

I am starting a new project that will hopefully help me finish up a few more products. I have so much makeup and I really need to start using them up before I can buy anymore. So I came up with an idea to have one set of products to use for the entire week, e.g. everyday that week I'll be using the same exact products. Then come the following week, I'll put together a new set of products to use. I've never used the same products everyday (except for chapsticks/foundation and watever), so I figure by doing this, I'll actually make use of what I have. So here are this week's products.

Stila All Over Glow

I went to Sephora the other day and saw a table full of Stila products! They were all on sale for $8.00! I have been looking for this All Over Glow compact everywhere and have almost opted to Ebay, but even on ebay its pretty expensive.
Pretty Pink

The color is pretty sheer, but goes on very smooth. You get an all over "face color" (the baby pink), which i use for cheeks and the little tab pulls out a luminizing color for highlight.

So since NYX is having a sale on cherry culture, everything that was on sale earlier went back to regular price so you can use the 50% coupon. Like their round lipsticks were on sale for $1.50 (prior to their anniversary sale) and now they are at $3.50 and when u use the 50% off code, you pay $1.75 for em haha, i think im going to wait for their one dollar sale again, however i couldn't help but get two lipsticks (Tea Rose and Fig)....i also got a few blushes because i never see their blushes on sale, so i might as well get them now. Hey all! Do you guys remember I was trying to find a MAC dupe for my Loreal Hip Duo in FOXY? and i somehow ended up with GRAIN & SMUT? well here are the results and i think the combination of smut and grain is even better than the loreal! =D i hope you like!

The color in the outer crease is Smut and Grain is placed all over my lid. The brushes i used are MAC's 217 (smut) and 239 (grain)
